Challenge

In early 2020, our client was experiencing persistent quality issues that were not only impacting their reputation, but also putting them at risk of costly industry related (ABPI) compliance fines.  

Product owners and internal project managers were feeling more and more frustrated with the quality of the deliverables and were wasting their time carrying out quality audits themselves, trying to catch issues and manage fixes. 

Our client not only needed in-built quality audits for their project delivery processes, they also needed these audits to be carried out by independent audit experts armed with the right experience and understanding of their company and industry.  

Solution

Our client set up a meeting with us to discuss their quality issues and their concerns regarding industry related compliance.  

We immediately recognised the need for consistent quality audits to be part of their project delivery planning and it was agreed that we would start providing our independent quality audits across both their websites as well as their email campaigns.  

Our quality audits would be based on the project brief and would include compliance technical checks. We would also carry out quality audits against certified content, ensuring that delivery matched the requested outcome.  

Results

Since beginning our QA partnership with this client, our quality audits have prevented errors from impacting the company and their end customers. To date, we have QA supported over 670 assets and there have been 0 compliance issues that we’re aware of.  

Today, we continue to audit our client’s projects and our responsibility has now expanded to include root cause analysis on projects that don’t go to plan. We help them identify why and how to fix the issue, focusing on continuous improvement and making the company ever more efficient.
