Overview

E-Learning is the delivery of courses or training through digital resources, and typically includes videos, readable content and online tests.

E-learning has become one of the fastest growing industries in recent years and its benefits are well known amongst educational institutions and students, as well as businesses looking to educate their customers.

In today’s market, companies need to focus on engaging more with their customers and increasing satisfaction and loyalty. They also need to find ways to stand out against their competitors. Can E-Learning be a solution that offers all these benefits?

Challenge

Our client, a global provider of immersive internship programmes, needed to increase customer engagement and satisfaction during a specific timeframe in order to ensure a successful outcome for both the customer and the internship provider.

Typically, as per university guidelines, students plan their time abroad around 6-12 months in advance and our client was worried that this gap between applying and starting was disengaging and a lost opportunity for them to build confidence and loyalty amongst their interns.

They also believed it was a lost opportunity for their customers to speak about the benefits of the programme to their friends and they wanted to address this challenge urgently.

They already offered E-Learning modules during the internship, but they believed that offering E-Learning modules before their customers began the programme would be ideal and they asked Projekt Rising to manage and deliver the project.

Solution

After fully understanding the challenge that the academy was facing, a project brief was written down outlining exactly what our client needed and we set to work.

With our proven knowledge in building E-Learning modules, we knew that the first step was to ensure best practice instructional design by engaging one of our E-Learning experts who could design the modules based on how people best learn online.

We then engaged one of our content writers, ensuring they had expert knowledge of the agreed subject matter, and they set out to design the content of the modules before our graphic designer was able to create the finished product in line with the specific requirements.

Throughout the process, we ran quality audits to make sure we caught any errors and matched our work with the project brief, completing the project in under 4 weeks.

Results

Our client had previously created E-Learning modules with another company and were thrilled that the result of our work was error-free, delivered in half the time, and 75% cheaper than they had paid before.

Thanks to the modules they now offer, our client’s customers maintain engagement in the period between joining the course and beginning the course and feel 87% more motivated and excited about starting their internship.

“10/10 on quality, cost, and speed.”
